นายธนากร คมกฤส ผู้ประสานงานเครือข่ายรณรงค์หยุดพนัน กล่าวว่า เครือข่ายรณรงค์หยุดพนัน ร่วมกับเครือข่ายครอบครัว และสำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพ (สสส.) มีแผนจัดทำ “คู่มือดูบอลกับลูก-ครอบครัว-เพื่อนและคนรัก” โดยตระหนักว่าฟุตบอล คือ กีฬายอดนิยมที่แฝงการพนันและสามารถเข้าถึงเยาวชนมากที่สุด จึงต้องการติดอาวุธทางปัญญาให้กับเยาวชนและผู้ปกครองด้วยการจัดทำสื่อให้ความรู้ ว่า ทำอย่างไรไม่ให้ก้าวสู่วงจรนักพนัน และเป็นเครื่องมือให้คนในครอบครัวเข้าใจลูกมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยจัดทำคู่มือทั้งหมด 3 เล่ม เล่มแรกสำหรับเด็กเยาวชน ส่วนเล่มที่ 2 และ 3 สำหรับกลุ่มพ่อแม่เพื่อให้เข้าถึงเยาวชน ทั้งนี้ ได้เชิญผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิหลายด้านมาร่วมตีโจทย์ วิเคราะห์ปัญหา และวางแผนการรณรงค์ให้เข้าถึงกลุ่มเป้าหมายมากที่สุด
“คู่มือนี้จะดึงดูดให้กลุ่มเป้าหมายเกิดความสนใจ มีรูปแบบเชิงแมกกาซีน อิงกับหนังสือฟุตบอล เพราะเป็นสิ่งที่คุ้นเคยและง่ายต่อการเข้าถึง ส่วนเนื้อหาจะไม่เน้นเชิงวิชาการหนักมากนัก จะใช้นักฟุตบอลชื่อดังมาเป็นคนเดินเรื่อง หรือใช้รูปแบบการ์ตูนและเสริมเกร็ดความรู้ง่ายๆ คาดว่าคู่มือนี้จะแล้วเสร็จและเปิดตัวในช่วงเดือนตุลาคมนี้” นายธนากร กล่าว
